This December, as The Climate Initiative reaches its third birthday, we celebrate the journey that brought us to this milestone – YOUR support!

Thanks to you, TCI has:

(1) Created non-partisan climate education programming that has scaled from Kennebunkport, Maine to all 50 states, 17 countries and counting;

(2) Educated over 125,000 high school aged students in topics like sea level rise, renewable energy, agriculture, wildfires,  floods and droughts, climate justice & equity, and more;

(3) Engaged over 1,200 educators across the United States!

Your belief in our mission of empowering youth voices for climate action means that we are more than 25% of our way to 1 million youth taking positive climate action by 2025.

Everything we do at TCI and within our programming is created from the lens of hope. Through educating, empower and activating youth to be climate champions in their own communities, we see climate hope winning over despair in youth that experience and complete our programming. Your support and belief in our mission pushes this hope forward, in real (and measurable ways – just ask us!) every day.

This past year TCI staff has been focused on asking “What gives you climate hope?” Watch the video below for answers from New York Climate Week!
