Join Us for our 4th Annual National Climate Educators Retreat!
TCI is proud to announce our 2024 National Climate Educators Retreat this August in Saco, Maine hosted at The Ecology School. We are SO excited to continue this program!
The National Climate Educators Retreat is a professional development opportunity, designed to support high school classroom teachers in incorporating climate education in their curriculum to educate, empower, and inspire students and community members to take action to adapt to or to mitigate climate change.
Over the course of the retreat, teachers will build their climate knowledge, network with colleagues, have supported time to develop implementable projects/curriculum, be treated to delicious, farm fresh meals, and the opportunity to live what you learn on a climate resilient campus. Teachers will leave with a plan to put into action in your school with your students.
Note for Global Educators: International teachers are welcome to apply for the National Retreat, however, please note that for teachers outside of North America, the stipend may only cover a portion of their travel expenses. While we are excited to welcome teachers from around the world, we recognize that travel costs may present challenges for some attendees.
