Join Us for Community Conversation Events!
Join The Climate Initiative (TCI) for our Community Conversation events focused on addressing sea level rise and the Climate Action Grant (CAG) in Lower Village and Dock Square, Kennebunkport. These events will raise awareness and foster discussions about the impact of sea level rise along the Maine coast.
Led by TCI’s local CAG Youth Cohort, these events are open to all members of the community, regardless of age or level of environmental awareness. Come and be part of the conversation as we explore strategies to mitigate the effects of sea level rise and discuss the opportunities provided by the Climate Action Grant. Your input and ideas are vital in shaping the future of our community’s resilience.
Event Details:
- Dates: Wednesday July 19th, Wednesday July 26th, Sunday July 30th, Thursday August 3rd, & Wednesday August 9th
- Time: 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM for all but Sunday July 30th, which is 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
- Location: July 19 (Atlantic Hall, 173 Main St, Cape Porpoise, ME 04014), all other dates will be held at the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust Headquarters at 57 Gravelly Brook Rd, Kennebunkport, ME 04046
