Your Dream Climate Change Communicator Job
Climate change can’t wait for the next generation of climate leaders to start making a difference.
At The Climate Initiative (TCI), we believe youth are key to solving the climate challenge because they influence and foster climate concern among their parents, communities, and decision-makers. We are looking to hire part time team member with the vision to promote and enact real change within the climate change communications space in order to inspire other youth voices along the way.
TCI is hiring a climate change mover and shaker in the social media content creation and communications space at a $20,000 annual base salary for one year for a part-time (20 hours/week) commitment. The biggest expectation of the winning #climatecareer applicant is that they will inspire other youth voices to climate change understanding and action as a part of their job! Additionally, the winner will share their journey with TCI communities over the next year through social media and other platforms.
It’s time for you to submit your dream climate change communicator job description! We want to know how you plan on educating other youth about climate change in a nonpartisan way and inspiring climate action over the next year through social media:
An A+ cover letter to us would include:
- An introduction to you and your social media savviness, and why climate change matters to you.
- Your take on this dream climate career social media internship job description, sharing your biggest goals for this job and how you will inspire youth as part of your role.
- Finally, how would you look to measure success looking back at your role in the Winter of 2022-2023?!
